List of All Arrows and How to Craft Them — Palworld Database

Bows stay useful for the entire game in Palworld — but only if you keep the right ammo stocked. There are six arrow types, from the starter Wood-and-Stone arrow to the endgame Mechanical Bow Ammo, and every recipe conveniently produces a batch of 10 per craft. Here's every arrow, exactly what it costs, and which bow it feeds.

Every Arrow at a Glance

The arrow ladder tracks your bow progression exactly: plain Stone arrows at Tech 3 carry the early game, the elemental crossbow ammo at Tech 6 and 8 adds burn and poison pressure, and from Tech 42 the recipes shift to Carbon Fiber and eventually Soralite for the endgame Mechanical Bow. Every recipe below makes 10 arrows per craft, so the material cost per shot stays honest all the way up.

Early Arrows: Arrow, Fire and Poison

The basic Arrow unlocks at level 3 and costs nothing but Wood and Stone, so stock hundreds early — all three early arrows come out of the Primitive Workbench. Fire Arrows add one Flame Organ per batch and deal Fire damage on contact, while Poison Arrows use a Venom Gland and poison the target on hit. Both organs come from hunting the right element of Pal — check the full Pal organ farming guide for the best sources.

TipThe elemental crossbows are built around these arrows: the Fire Arrow Crossbow burns targets — and a burning Pal is easier to capture — while the Poison Arrow Crossbow does the same with poison. Cheap arrows, better catch rates.

Late Arrows: Reinforced, Advanced and Mechanical

At Tech Lv 42 the Reinforced Arrow swaps Wood and Stone for 2× Refined Ingot and 2× Carbon Fiber per batch, feeding the Compound Bow (1,100 Attack). The Advanced Arrow at Lv 57 runs on 2× Plasteel and 5× Carbon Fiber for the Advanced Bow — a 5,800-Attack monster. And the one most players miss: Mechanical Bow Ammo at Lv 67, crafted at the Ancient Workbench from just 2× Soralite Ingot, for the 20,000-Attack Mechanical Bow.

Attack values are the base-version numbers, so rarer schematic versions of a bow hit harder. For where the Nightstar Sand in the Advanced Bow comes from, see the Nightstar Sand farming guide — and if you'd rather skip bows entirely, the gun rankings cover everything with a trigger.
