The Ancient Relic Recycler turns the Ancient Relics you pick up around the World Tree into genuinely good loot — guaranteed Mythical Wood and Paloxite every time, with a shot at Radiant Gems, implants, Ancient Civilization Cores and even endgame weapon schematics. Here's how to unlock it, what it costs, and exactly why higher-grade relics are worth hoarding.

How to Unlock and Build It

The recycler sits at Technology Lv 74 and costs 3 Technology Points — it's a late-game machine, unlocked around the time you're exploring the World Tree anyway. It needs 800 power, so park it near a good generator with a strong Electric Pal (best Pals for every base job), and any Handiwork Pal can run it. The build cost:

The 5 Ancient Relic Grades

Ancient Relics are fragments of a lost civilization scattered around the World Tree, and they come in five grades. The grade matters a lot, twice over — the guaranteed materials grow from a small handful on a Decayed relic to a heap on a Glistening one, and the bonus rolls get dramatically better as the relic glows brighter.

What Recycling Pays Out

Every relic returns guaranteed Mythical Wood and Paloxite1–3 of each from a Decayed relic, climbing grade by grade to 9–11 apiece from a Glistening one. On top of that, each recycle rolls for bonus loot — and this is where the grades separate further. A Decayed relic almost never hits the rare slots; a Glistening one hits them constantly. The core roll goes from 20% to over 40% — and where a Decayed relic pays a single Ancient Civilization Core per hit, every higher grade delivers 5–10 at once. The weapon-schematic roll climbs from roughly 1-in-750 on a Decayed relic to 1-in-5 on a Glistening one.

Bonus RewardWhat It's For

Drone Launcher SchematicWorld Tree weapon schematics
Skill FruitsTeach moves like Hyper Beam and Holy Blast
Little Kinship PeachRaises a Pal's Trust
Stat Fruits & Training ManualsPermanent stat boosts and easy EXP

The schematic roll is deeper than it looks: the pool spans seven gear familiesBeam Scatter, Drone Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Beam Launcher, and all three climate variants of Ancient Armor — every one at rarities up to Schematic 4. The full source breakdown lives in the legendary Ancient Armor guide. And Glistening relics hold one final exclusive: only the top grade can roll the special implant pool — about one recycle in five spits out a Disposable Implant like Immortality, Heavily Armored, or Skymarcher that no lower grade ever drops.

TipDon't feed your Glistening and Glowing relics into the machine early expecting wood — that's what Decayed relics are for. Save the high grades until you're hunting schematics and implants; the jackpot odds are more than a hundred times better at the top grade.
