The Drafting Table unlocks at Technology Lv 45 for 4 Technology Points. It's a Handiwork station, so any crafting Pal can run it — the top Handiwork Pals chew through combine jobs fastest. Build cost:

The 5-into-1 Rule
Every schematic line in the game follows one rule at the Drafting Table: combine 5 identical schematics to get 1 of the next rarity up. The full ladder:

What a Legendary Actually Costs
The rule is the same everywhere — every combine in the game takes exactly five of the tier below, with no exceptions across the 281 upgrade recipes. That compounds fast, so the honest price of climbing the whole ladder from the bottom is:

- Schematic 3 — 25 copies of Schematic 1
