Nail Crafting Recipe
Crafting it takes 1 material across 1 type. Each craft returns 5, so the real cost per unit is lower than the list suggests.
Where to Find Nail
Nail shows up as world loot — junk hauls while fishing in the Grasslands and junk hauls while fishing in the Forest, usually 1–4 at a time.
| How | Where | Details |
|---|---|---|
| World loot | Junk hauls while fishing in the Grasslands | Grade 1 · 64.0% chance · 1–4 at a time |
| World loot | Junk hauls while fishing in the Forest | Grade 1 · 40.0% chance · 3–5 at a time |
Using Nail Well
Nails gate the whole crafting-bench ladder: the High-Quality Workbench (level 11), the Sphere Workbench (level 14) and the Weapon Workbench (level 20) each cost 10. Bank about 30 from your first Ingot runs and you can unlock all three benches the moment the tech points land.
Nail demand jumps again in the assembly-line tier — 20 each for the Production Assembly Line, Weapon Assembly Line and Sphere Assembly Line, then 30 apiece for Sphere Assembly Line II and the Pal Disassembly Conveyor. A dedicated ingot-to-nail queue at a bench is worth keeping running from level 27 onward.
Every lamp recipe pairs nails with Electric Organ at the same ratio — the Lamp and Ceiling Lamp each want 3 of both — so a lighting pass on a base needs an Electric Organ farm queued alongside the smelter, not just more ingots.
All three Lockpicking Tools run on nails — 5, 10 and 20 for v1, v2 and v3 — and v3 pairs its 20 with 30 Pal Metal Ingot, so the last tier is a Pal Metal project rather than an early-iron one.
