How to Get Katress
Katress is one of the Pals you can simply buy: a Pal merchant sells it at level 20–30, which skips the hunt when you want one at a known level. Show the merchants on the map →
Katress is Dark, so a Dragon attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Katress spawn between level 20 and 46. Higher-level ones are markedly harder to hold — take a low one first and come back for the rest when you are stacking a condenser.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.

Katress Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Katress once yields the Katress Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.

Wild Katress roam at level 20–46 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Katress
Katress spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Cinnamoth Forest (11.4% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Hypocrite Hill and Lake Center. They come in groups of up to 2, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Dungeons Katress Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Katress turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
the boss chamber fight is level 27–29, and ordinary cavern spawns run level 20–23.
