How to Get Needoll

Needoll is one of the Pals you can simply buy: a Pal merchant sells it at level 40–45, which skips the hunt when you want one at a known level. Show the merchants on the map →

Needoll is Grass, so a Fire attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.

Wild Needoll spawn between level 31 and 40. Higher-level ones are markedly harder to hold — take a low one first and come back for the rest when you are stacking a condenser.

Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.

Needoll spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.

Most of them are around Duneshelter (26.2% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Deep Sand Dunes and Seaward Passage. They come in groups of up to 3, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
