Using Precious Entrails Well

No bench recipe, structure or technology unlock takes it as a material. It is a pure sale item, so a stack sitting in the box is just gold you have not collected yet.

The rate is a flat 100% on every boss that carries it, so the only variable is how many drop per kill. Paladius, Necromus, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct pay 6-8 apiece, Knocklem and both Lyleens 6-7, Anubis 5-7 — against a floor of 1-2 from the likes of Ganesha, Kelpie and Kelpie Ignis. Anubis is the outlier worth building a loop around: a far cheaper fight than the legendaries for nearly the same payout.

All 95 Pals that carry it are boss-flagged encounters — the field Alphas and the bosses sitting at the end of dungeons. Killing the ordinary wild spawn of the same Pal returns nothing, so this is not a species you can farm at a spawn point; it is a route of Alpha markers and dungeon boss rooms run against their respawn timers.

The Desert, Village, Volcano and Wander shops all list it at 12,500 Gold. That is the counter price, not an opportunity — it exists to tell you what the merchant thinks the item is worth, and buying one back is money moving the wrong way.
