How to Get Valentail
Valentail is Neutral, so a Dark attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Valentail spawn between level 63 and 69. Higher-level ones are markedly harder to hold — take a low one first and come back for the rest when you are stacking a condenser.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it middle of the road: take the health bar down first and aim for its back.

Wild Valentail roam at level 63–69 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Valentail
Valentail spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Farcry Marsh (75% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Crystalline Archipelago and Azure Covenant Tower Entrance. They come in groups of up to 3, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Valentail in Base Raids
Valentail shows up in 2 raid groups that attack your base, at level 13–15 around the Sky City. Worth knowing before you settle there — build your defences around what actually turns up.
Dungeons Valentail Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Valentail turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
the boss chamber fight is level 65–69, and ordinary cavern spawns run level 63–64.
