It carries newborn Pals back to its nest and raises them as a surrogate parent. Once they've fattened up, it hunts them.

How to Get Nitewing
Nitewing is Neutral, so a Dark attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Nitewing spawn between level 12 and 40. A level 40 one resists far more than a level 12; catch cheap first, then farm the high spawns for condensing.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it middle of the road: take the health bar down first and aim for its back.

Nitewing Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Nitewing once yields the Nitewing Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.
The fight also unlocks Nitewing Saddle, the gear that lets you ride or deploy Nitewing properly.
Wild Nitewing Level Range
Wild Nitewing roam at level 12–40 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Nitewing
Nitewing spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Islandhopper Coast (15.9% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Ascetic Falls and Sealed Realm of the Ardent. They come in groups of up to 3, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Nitewing in Base Raids
Nitewing shows up in 2 raid groups that attack your base, at level 24–26 around the Grasslands. Worth knowing before you settle there — build your defences around what actually turns up.
Dungeons Nitewing Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Nitewing turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.

Nitewing shines as a frontline attacker. Build toward the passives below and the role does the rest. Catching, breeding and implants all supply them.
