How to Get Nox
Nox is Dark, so a Dragon attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Nox spawn between level 4 and 19. That top end fights the sphere much harder, so start low and leave the tougher ones until you need duplicates.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.

Wild Nox roam at level 4–19 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Nox
Nox spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Isle of Murmurs (28.8% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Isle of Silence Church Ruins and Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance. They come in groups of up to 2, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Dungeons Nox Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Nox turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
the boss chamber fight is level 17–19, and ordinary cavern spawns run level 12–15.
