How to Get Neptilius
Neptilius does not spawn randomly. There is exactly one, a fixed level 60 alpha standing in its own spot on the map, so this is a scripted fight you travel to rather than something you search for.
Neptilius is Water, so an Electric or Grass attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Neptilius spawn at level 60, so bring something comfortably above that: an under-levelled team turns a catch into a damage race you lose.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.

Neptilius Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Neptilius once yields the Neptilius Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.
The fight also unlocks Neptilius Saddle, the gear that lets you ride or deploy Neptilius properly.
