How to Get Turtacle
Turtacle can be fished up rather than fought — 36 wild spots of the small kind hold it, at level 1–37. The alpha turns up on the bigger spots, so a rod can hand you one without a fight. Once you have a Fishing Pond at base it shows up there too — 9.5% per catch in the small pool, which is the hands-off way to farm one.
Turtacle is one of the Pals you can simply buy: a Pal merchant sells it at level 30–35, which skips the hunt when you want one at a known level. Show the merchants on the map →
Turtacle is Water, so an Electric or Grass attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Turtacle spawn between level 5 and 39. A level 39 one resists far more than a level 5; catch cheap first, then farm the high spawns for condensing.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it middle of the road: take the health bar down first and aim for its back.

Dungeons Turtacle Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Turtacle turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.

Turtacle shines as a frontline attacker. Build toward the passives below and the role does the rest. Catching, breeding and implants all supply them.
