The only Renjishi in the world is the Alpha, so unless you want to fight that boss every time, breeding is how you get a second one.
Of the 48 pairings, Bastigor and Roujay is the one to aim for first — both parents are catchable in the wild, so you can assemble it without breeding the parents themselves.
