At 10 weight each it eats carry capacity fast, so bring a mount or park a chest nearby. It sells for almost nothing, so do not bother hauling it to a shop.
Where to Find Electric Egg

Using Electric Egg Well
"Egg Incubator" covers four different boxes, and which one you own decides whether a shelf of these is an afternoon or a week. The starter is Technology 10 for 1 Ancient Technology point and 10 Paldium Fragment, 5 Cloth, 30 Stone and 2 [[item:PalCrystal_Ex|Ancient Civilization Parts]] — one egg at a time, and it does nothing about temperature, so the surrounding climate is your problem. The Electric Egg Incubator at Technology 36 (5 points; 50 [[item:IronIngot|Refined Ingot]], 15 [[item:MachineParts2|Circuit Board]], 5 Ancient Civilization Parts, 2 [[item:AncientParts2|Ancient Civilization Core]]) holds the right temperature by itself but wants a live power line. The Large Incubator at Technology 48 (5 points; 50 [[item:StealIngot|Pal Metal Ingot]], 20 [[item:Cloth2|High Quality Cloth]], 20 Ancient Civilization Parts, 4 Ancient Civilization Core) takes several eggs at once and runs unpowered. The Large-Scale Electric Egg Incubator at Technology 58 is the one that does both — 5 points and 100 [[item:StainlessSteel|Hexolite]], 50 Circuit Board, 30 Ancient Civilization Parts, 20 Ancient Civilization Core.
The two electric boxes are only as reliable as the base grid behind them, so budget a generator and a Pal standing on it before you commit 100 Hexolite to the big one. Convenient, given what is inside this egg: Electric hatchlings are exactly the labour that keeps it fed, and 25 Pals carry Generating Electricity at all. [[pal:ThunderDragonMan|Orserk]] is the ceiling at level 8, [[pal:ThunderFluffyBird|Dynamoff]] and [[pal:KingSunfish_Thunder|Solmora Lux]] sit at 6, and [[pal:ElecPanda|Grizzbolt]] at 5 is the one most bases already have. If your power situation is not there yet, the unpowered Large Incubator ten levels earlier clears a breeding backlog just as well — it simply costs you the temperature control.
