Carrying Lotus (L)

Material · MaterialMonster3

The large purple bloom, and one of the harder things to get hold of. Burden Elixir can't be made without it.

Carrying Lotus (L) feeds 2 different recipes, which is why it is worth farming past the point you think you need it.

Gold Value30000

It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack. At 30,000 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Where to Find Carrying Lotus (L)

Carrying Lotus (L) shows up as world loot — crates on the oil rigs, crates on the large oil rig and recycling Decayed Ancient Relics, and 4 more pools besides, usually 1–2 at a time.

The level 80 raid in the table below is the master-grade Moon Lord fight, summoned from a Celestial Sigil [Master] at a Summoning Altar, and it is the only source of this flower that never rolls dice: one Carrying Lotus (L) is guaranteed on every clear. The other four large lotuses — Life, Stamina, Power and Speed — sit on that same table at 20% each, so the purple one is the single lotus you can actually plan around. Better still, the kill re-drops the master sigil at 100%, meaning the fight pays its own entry fee and can be repeated as long as you keep winning.

Put the chest routes in terms of one finished Burden Elixir, which needs six of these. Ordinary oil rig crates pay about 0.3 flowers apiece once the 20% chance and the 1–2 stack are folded together, so budget roughly twenty crates; the large rig's grade 5 crates are worse per open at about 0.2, or thirty crates, despite the fatter 1–3 stack. Recycling Ancient Relics is not a route at all — even Glistening relics, the best of the five, hit at 0.073%, which is on the order of 1,400 relics for one flower. Six Moon Lord clears beat every one of those.

Using Carrying Lotus (L) Well

Burden Elixir is the only thing in the game that consumes this flower, and the small purple version is not a cheaper substitute for it — Carrying Lotus (S) feeds Burden Remedy, a separate and weaker permanent carry-capacity boost, so a stack of small ones will never save a large one. Both elixirs also work on you and nobody else: feeding either to a Pal does nothing at all, which makes every flower you spend a direct upgrade to your own inventory weight rather than to a mount's.

Raid Boss Rewards
